SCHOOLS in Darlington were being taught about road safety by a theatre group over the past week.
The StopWatch Theatre company presented Why did the Chicken Cross the Road?, which focused on risk and safety through the eyes of children.
Pupils took part in drama exercises designed to help them better understand risk and the consequences of decisions made.
Schools taking part included Branksome, Beaumont Hill, Longfield, Hurworth and Haughton Community School.
