A film made by students in the North-East has won a prize at this year's Royal Television Society (RTS) Awards.
The film, called Six Degrees, was directed by Northumbria University student Andrew Stretch and produced by Faye Donaldson. It won a prize for the best student non-factual production in the North-East and Border Centre of the RTS awards.
Other productions from Northumbria were also highly commended.
Death and Mrs Brady, directed by Alex Nichol and produced by Ellie Land, was runner-up to Andrew and Faye.
Tin Yin Chou was also highly commended in the best student animation category for her Chinese folklore tale The Moon in Autumn.
Rachel Matthews, who lectures in scriptwriting at the university won a prize for best non-broadcast non-factual production with a film called Danny and His Amazing Teeth.
