POLICE investigating a series of bogus caller incidents are questioning a woman.
The 25-year-old, from Dormanstown, east Cleveland, was arrested as part of an investigation of at least ten burglaries in Middlesbrough.
The incidents, in which vulnerable people aged 70 to 90 have been targeted, date back to January and include two this week, at Hemlington and Grove Hill.
Detective Inspector Derek Carter, of Middlesbrough CID, said they were also looking at similar burglaries elsewhere in the North-East.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call police on (01642) 303126.
