SHILDON residents are invited to a coffee morning in an unusual setting this week.
The Co-operative Funeral Service, in Church Street, will hold an open day on Thursday, from 10am to 2pm.
The event marks the premises' sixth anniversary and offers the public a chance to view the facilities which include two chapels of rest.
Staff will be on hand to talk about the business and refreshments will be offered to visitors.
