PEOPLE living in a part of Hartlepool earmarked for regeneration can get an update on progress at a meeting today.
The New Deal for Communities (NDC) forum will meet in Belle Vue Community Sports and Youth Centre at 6pm.
The meeting, which will be open to all residents in the NDC area, will include a presentation on plans to enhance Longhill Industrial Estate and to expand the Sure Start programme to the Oxford Road and Belle Vue areas.
Residents will also get the chance to put questions to those behind the plans.
Malcolm Walker, NDC director, said: "These are two very important initiatives and it is important that residents come along to listen to the proposals and have their say."
