TWO teenagers will be hoping to make their mark in London when they enter a competition organised by one of the capital's top radio stations.

Eighteen-year-olds Luke Southgate and Tom Duffy are from the Richmond area, and formed their band, Eskimo, only 18 months ago.

But, so far, they have been judged good enough to reach the last 32 in XFM's contest and a recorded interview with them will be broadcast on the station next Monday. Their song, You Don't Have To Be Angry, is already among others by 32 finalists being played online at www.xfm.co.uk and anyone who would like to support their bid for stardom can vote for them on the same website.

The winning band will get a recording contract.

But, in the meantime, Eskimo will not be ignoring their home fans. They are booked to play at Richmond's Comrades Club on Saturday, March 8.
