At last we put in a good performance in front of the Sky cameras.

Even though we didn't get all three points, I thought the second-half performance was excellent with some superb passing moves and with a little bit more luck we could have won by two or three goals.

The Sky people gave York's goalkeeper man-of-the-match and quite rightly so because he kept them in the game with some fantastic saves.

What a fantastic turnout from the Poolies. I knew there would be a lot there because the town was full as we drove through.

Their support on the night was fantastic and all the players were gutted we couldn't give them the win they deserved.

A lot of fans have been shouting for Flash (Gordon Watson) to be playing but even though he is training and playing reserve matches he is still not 100 per cent to play in the first team.

It wouldn't be fair on him or the team to put him in when he is not ready, so like him I ask all the fans to be patient and support the team on the pitch.

I am looking forward to the big European games coming up this week. This is the time when it starts to get exciting so good luck to all our teams.
