GLOBAL science company Synetix is showcasing its skills in Poland on Thursday.
The Billingham-based catalysts business, part of Johnson Matthey Chemicals, is holding a one-day seminar in Warsaw, following the conclusion of the annual Nitrogen 2003 conference.
Frances Lynch, from Synetix, said: "We are expecting about 65 of our customers to attend, with some coming from as far afield as North Africa and the Middle East.
"With our recent change in ownership, the symposium will give us the ideal opportunity to introduce Johnson Matthey and showcase our combined portfolio of products."
The sale of Synetix, which employs 400 at its Billingham site, by former owners ICI to Johnson Matthey was completed in August last year.
