ORGANISERS have opened an education suite at a riding centre for the disabled.
The facility at the Riding for the Disabled Unicorn Centre at Hemlington, Middlesbrough, was funded by the Community Fund and the Tees Valley TEC.
It consists of a 60-seat training room with conference fac-ilities, kitchen and toilet. The self-contained unit enables the suite to operate independently from the riding centre.
The suite will be used by the centre for training students on NVQ courses in horse care and management in partnership with Middlesbrough College, as well as Riding for the Disabled courses and conferences. The centre is also offering to hire the facility to the business community.
