PEOPLE wanting to offer others a helping hand are invited to a series of drop-in sessions across the Wear Valley area.
Lindsay Wright, a co-ordinator for the 2D agency in Crook, hopes new volunteers will call in for advice and information.
In Bishop Auckland she will be at the Asda store tomorrow; Woodhouse Close Church, on Thursday, March 13, from 10am to 12.30pm; on March 20 at the JobCentre from 10am to 12.30pm and on March 28 at the Four Clocks between 11am and 1pm.
In Crook, there is a session at the Community Partnership office in Hope Street on Tuesday from 10am to noon.
In Tow Law a provisional date has been set for the parish hall on Friday, March 14, from 9.30am to 11am.
Other sessions are in the Durham Dales Centre from 10am to 12.30pm on Thursday, March 13, and at the Resource Centre in Willington on March 25 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
