MORE than 200 musicians from Darlington and South Durham are preparing for a huge performance of Verdi's Requiem.
Darlington Choral Society has joined singers from Richmond, Crook, Weardale, Bishop Auckland and Stanhope for the production.
Requiem has not been performed in Darlington for many years and the Society is hopeful it will attract up to 800 members of the public.
Tickets for the concert, on Saturday, April 12, are available from the Dolphin Centre, tourist information or by call Kathleen Bryant on (01325) 467602. For more information about the society visit the web site on www.communigate.co.uk/ne/choralsociety.
