THE funeral of a North-East dentist will be held today.
Dennis Neville, who worked at the Victoria Road dental practice, in Darlington, was found dead on February 27.
Neighbours in Greta Bridge, near Barnard Castle, County Durham, found the 43-year-old after not seeing him for some time.
His body was discovered in a field to the rear of his home in The Square with a shotgun by his side.
An ambulance crew was called, but Mr Neville was pronounced dead.
Mr Neville was understood to have been separated from his wife, Ali. He leaves a daughter, Jessica, and a son, Jack.
A funeral service will be held at 11am at St Mary's Church, Gainford, followed by private interment.
An inquest into Mr Neville's death will be opened at Bishop Auckland Magistrates' Court on Monday, at 2.30p.
