Restaurant workers found themselves in deep water today.
Some were really out of their depth as they took on competition in dragon boat races on the River Tees near Stockton, for Comic Relief.
Fifteen workers left waiting on tables at TGI Friday's on the Teesside Retail Park to take on three teams of students from the University of Durham's Queen's Campus, Stockton.
General manager Jo Hinds, spokeswoman for "some very wet teams'' said: "We certainly expect to play a big part in helping TGI Fridays raise thousands of pounds for Comic Relief at all 41 of our restaurants across the country.''
The American theme restaurant chain has come up with a Red Nose Fizz cocktail as part of their national fundraising campaign.
