Richmond Town U12s are through to the final of the R&D Cup for the second successive season.
Against a talented Thirsk,who had home advantage, Richmond had to work hard with victory only being secured in the final minutes of the match by B.Whiteside. Richmond had taken an early first half lead through C.Swainston, only to see this cancelled out.
Richmonds U14s were playing in the Teeside League cup and had a fantastic victory of 5-0 over Wheatly Hill who are top of the next division up from Richmond. N.Fisher (3), J.Flannery and C.Westgarth completed a great victory for Richmond.
Richmond U11s travelled to Darlington Albion for their cup match. The match went into extra time and with five minutes to go the ball fell to G.Love who placed the ball apst the Albion keeper to secure a place in the semi finals.
Richmond U15s played Hartlepool in a cup match and won 3-0. Goals were from C.Cox(2) and R.Crowther. A good game on difficult boggy conditions.
Richmond u13s lost at home 1-2 to Acklam Steelworksin a third round cup tie. Richmond went ahead when B.Tack scored.
Richmond U10s were at home to Catterick Juniors. Team 1 lost 2-5 with Richmond's goals coming from C.Garside. Team 2 lost 0-4. The game was again fast end to end football by both sides. Richmond had some chances but could not put the ball in the net and the away team capitalised.
