Harrogate'S latest gallery unveils its second exhibition of contemporary art this weekend.
The Gillis Browne Gallery in Parliament Street is putting the final touches to Over Land and Sea which will contain work by Carol Tyler as well as new pieces from Swaledale artist, Michael Bilton, who lives in Grinton, Roo Sangster-Bullers and Sarah Bradford.
It takes over from the exhibition that marked the opening of the gallery in November.
The gallery is proving a welcome addition to the arts scene in Yorkshire. More importantly, it has become home for a number of artists who concentrate on creating larger and more striking pieces that cannot be accommodated in smaller galleries.
Over Land and Sea opens with a preview party tomorrow and on Sunday and continues to Easter Sunday, April 20.The gallery is located at 44 Parliament Street, Harrogate. Further information can be obtained by ringing 01423 568346.
