WOMEN were invited to an afternoon of indulgence at a fundraising event for a local hospice.
The Hall Garth Golf and Country Club, at Coatham Mundeville, Darlington, was the venue for afternoon tea.
The event was organised by the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland.
There was a packed programme throughout the afternoon, including a cookery demonstration by Hall Garth head chef Dean Barclay.
That was followed by a display of shoes, hats and fashion accessories, a creative demonstration and the chance to buy hand-made jewelled eggs.
Linda Baker, meetings and events manager at Hall Garth which supplied the venue free, said: "It went very well. The head chef gave a fantastic demonstration and the ladies really enjoyed it."
