WEDDING planning is made easy this weekend when The Northern Echo stages its Bride and Groom 2003 exhibition.
What has become one of the region's leading wedding displays will be staged in the spectacular setting of the Bishop of Durham's home, Auckland Castle, at Bishop Auckland, tomorrow.
With more than 40 exhibitors covering every aspect of the big day, brides can do all their planning under one roof.
Three bridal fashion shows are in the castle's St Peter's chapel, at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, with outfits from leading wedding specialists Dobinson's, of Darlington, Exclusively Yours, of Hartlepool, Forwarding Address, Thornaby, Greenwoods Menswear and Binns, both Darlington.
Other exhibitors include florists, jewellers, car hire firms, hotels, photographers, stationery companies, make-over specialists, a piper and a horse and carriage company.
The show fills four rooms and a marquee as well as the chapel and is open from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free
