Iceland in Darlington's Queen Street Shopping Arcade is closing its doors at 4pm on Wednesday for a nine-day make-over.
But customers who still want to shop at Iceland are being provided with a free minibus service, to the supermarket's other store in the town, in Yarm Road.
The bus service will start at 9am on Thursday, departing from the Queen Street Shopping Arcade entrance in Commercial Street and will run every 30 minutes.
The last bus from the shopping arcade will depart at 4pm. The last service from the Yarm Road store will be at 5pm.
Iceland Queen Street store manager, Kyle Rees, said: "We want to ensure minimum inconvenience for our customers whilst the refurbishment is carried out.
"We hope our shoppers will take advantage of the service and look forward to welcoming them to the new look Queen Street store when it reopens on 21 March."
