TWO North-East labradors proved they were top dogs when they won their classes at Crufts.
Breeder Judith Charlton, of Balk, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, was delighted when her black labrador, Foxrush Blue Sapphire, won the best bitch class, and yellow pup, Foxrush Giselle, won the best puppy class in the labrador section.
Mrs Charlton has been a breeder for more than 30 years and was a Crufts judge in 1999.
She said: "It's a really big achievement for me because almost 500 labradors entered Crufts and mine have got first place in two of the classes."
Thanks to their win, the two dogs have guaranteed places in next year's Crufts competition.
