A YORKSHIRE artist has agreed to contribute work to an exhibition which is helping to raise money for research into the decline in the number of swallows visiting Britain in the summer.
The British Trust For Ornithology is worried the birds' feeding grounds en route from Africa to the UK are being eroded by global warming while more of their winter habitats are destroyed by man.
The Wild About Art Exhibition opens at the Holiday Inn in Sheffield this weekend and Malton's Robert Fuller has confirmed he will be sending a painting, sketches and a bronze sculpture for sale to help raise cash for the BTO's Swallow Appeal.
