CAST members of a musical are hoping to score a hit with North-East audiences this week.
Fame The Musical is being staged at The Sunderland Empire Theatre until Saturday.
It is set over four years and charts the successes, struggles, talents and enthusiasm of young performers at New York's La Guardia School of Performing Arts.
A spokeswoman said: "Fame is a non-stop, high-energy show performed by a 35-strong electric cast, who will take you on a roller coaster ride through the highs, the lows and the triumphs of their quests for success at the world famous high school."
Tickets are available from the box office on 0191-514 2517.
