THE air quality monitoring station at Breckon Hill Road, Middlesbrough, has undergone a £45,000 refit including the installation of analysers and data logging equipment.
Middlesbrough Councillor Ron Lowes, executive member for liveability and the environment, said: "Middlesbrough enjoys consistently good air quality, better than most towns and cities and even some rural areas. The equipment will help us maintain the progress we have made on air quality over the past decade and keep people informed about a key element in their quality of life.
