THE first three teachers to be evicted from a makeshift prison as part of a school's charity event were named yesterday.
Gill Selby, Jenny Catterall and Carolyn Williams were the first to be evicted as part of Yarm Preparatory School's I'm A Teacher - Get Me Out Of Here challenge.
Nine teachers volunteered to be locked in the school's resource centre for three days to raise money for local charities.
Every day, they face mental and physical challenges set by the headteacher Gillian Taylor, followed by a vote to evict three teachers.
Yesterday's challenge was to remember the layout of the board game Mouse Trap in under one minute. The winner was Ian McKay.
The school is hoping to raise £4,000 for several charities.
