A DOZEN trainee beauty therapists have been pampering staff at the Ikea store in Gateshead.
The applied science students from Gateshead College gave massages, manicures, facials and Indian head massages, along with reflexology and aromatherapy treatments, as part of Ikea's healthy living promotion.
Sue Todd, who leads the college's beauty therapy course, said: "Hands-on experience is an essential part of their course, and the GC Salon based at the college offers health and beauty services to the general public.
