RESIDENTS will be given essential advice and information as Hambleton's Home Safety Campaign hits the road again next week.
Following a successful trip to Stokesley in February, the multi-agency mobile campaign will visit Thirsk and Easingwold to deliver safety messages to people.
Hosted by the Hambleton Community Safety Partnership, the roadshow aims to give out housing and health advice, including home security and fire safety.
The roadshows bring together representatives of Hambleton District Council, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North Yorkshire Police, Broadacres Housing Association, Age Concern, the Over 50s' Forum, the Citizens Advice Bureau, and the NHS.
Trading Standards officers will also be attending to offer advice on bogus callers, distraction burglaries, pirate products and unsafe goods.
They will be joined by staff from the Local Government Pension Department and advisors on energy efficiency and winter fuel payments.
Community safety officer Val Dodsworth said: "These roadshows bring together a host of agencies, all working to make Hambleton a safe place to live. We can offer residents useful information on a host of subjects.
"They have been exceptionally popular in the past and we are building on that success by adding new themes."
The roadshows will be held from 10am to 12.30pm, at The Golden Fleece, in Thirsk Market Place, on Monday, and at the Galtres Centre, Easingwold, next Friday.
