HEALTH chiefs are to hold an open day at their new headquarters as they celebrate their first year of operation.
Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust is throwing open the doors of its building in Station Road, Thirsk, next Friday.
On the same day, the building will be opened by local MPs William Hague and Anne McIntosh.
Invitations have been sent to the many voluntary and public sector organisations with which the Primary Care Trust works closely, as well as to staff. Patients and the public are also welcome.
Spokeswoman Anne Botterill said: "We have displays from most of the services provided by the trust.
"We have almost completed our first year of operation and wanted to highlight some of our success stories to partners and people who use the services.
"It is a tribute to our 750 members of staff who have carried on providing excellent standards of health care to the 116,000 people in our area, while at the same time working hard to develop the new organisation."
The event is from 2pm to 4pm.
