EASY STROLL: The Acorn Ramblers are holding an easy three-and-a-half mile walk at 1.30pm on Sunday, March 23, from the car park opposite the Queens Road Surgery in Blackhill.
The bus will be picking up walkers at 12.45pm near the Old Stanley Fire Station and at 1.05pm outside the Consett Salvation Army building.
BREWERY TALK: The Stanley Men's Thursday Club will watch a slide show on the digitalised and computerised Federation Brewery at 10.30am on Thursday, in the Lamplight Arts Theatre, Stanley.
DONOR SESSION: The National Blood Service is holding a donor session in Stanley Community Centre, Tyne Road, from 3.30pm to 7pm on Monday, March 24.
CHARITY CASH: A street collection in Consett raised £141.05 for the Children's Hope Foundation.
THEATRE TOURS: People can take a tour of the Empire Theatre, in Consett, during an open day on Saturday, March 22. Tours will be held throughout the day, from 10am to 8.30pm.
JUMBLE SALE: Central Annfield Plain Methodist Church is holding a jumble sale at 10am tomorrow, and a coffee morning and cake stall at 10am on Wednesday.
AFRICAN AID: A cake stall at St Mary's RC Church, South Moor, raised £97 for the Cafod Southern Africa Appeal.
