A MAN arrested outside a licensing meeting at Darlington Town Hall on Wednesday has been released on police bail.
John Embleton Cowx, of Shakespeare Road, Darlington, was held by police on suspicion of burglary after he turned up at the town hall to apply for a taxi driver's licence. He has been told to report at Huntingdon police station, in Cambridgeshire, on May 12.
