RAILWAY enthusiasts are in for a treat at the weekend.
Darlington Railway Museum, in the town's North Road, is staging a miniature railway weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Youngsters can enjoy rides on a miniature steam train, and painting activities.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30, the museum hosts a Victorian weekend, when children can step back in time for old-fashioned activities, including treasure hunts, puzzles and games.
The museum is open on weekends from 11am to 4pm and is free to children under five. For more information, call (01325) 460532.
