Willington and District League: Willington Cottles A strengthened their chances of landing the league title when they came back at Willington Brewer's Droop A to win in the decider and go three points clear at the top with a match in hand. Steven Britton put the Brewer's ahead but Gilly Sparks levelled. Jason Martin restored the home lead only to see Paul Trow equalise. In the decider Cottles Joe Bone beat Billy Wragg.
The race for the top spot in the Captain's Table sees Hunwick Quarry and Sunnybrow Brown Trout level two points ahead of Willington Brewer's Droop A, but the Trout have a match in hand.

Crook League
The play off for the Second Division title proved to be very one-sided when Crook Queen's Head B, who won the toss for home venue, only dropped one point to the visiting Willington Market.
The Market's lone winner was John Blackett, whilst the Queen's had wins from Malcolm Gibson, Carl Busby, Tommy Proud, Stephen Gibson and Anthony Palin with Dave Heslop and Malcolm Gibson adding the doubles.

Willington League
Willington Black Horse Inn made a good win at Willington Club to keep up the pressure on the leading Willington Black Horse Tavern. The Club only managed to take one singles point when Alan Walker won, whilst the visitors shot ahead with wins from Tony Claughan, Ivor Williamson, Steve Cason and Sammy Jackson. The Club took their second point when the father and son pairing of Alan and Colin Walker won the first doubles but the Black Horse Inn finished in style when Steve Cason and Tony Claughan won the final doubles.
Willington Black Horse Tavern lead the table by six points but have played a match extra from those below. Willington Black Horse Inn are in second place, six points ahead of Willington Lion and Unicorn, who almost ended their trophy chances when they went down at home to bottom team, Willington Commercial.
