Stanley and District Sunday League
It was a day of cup games and Grange Villa played Stanley FC in the semi final of the Bev Haggett Cup and raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Jon Hayley and Barry Ward - his 100th goal for the club.
However, it was all downhill after that and Stanley hit back with goals from Kraig Wilkinson, Mark Drake, David Robson and man of the match Graham Kendal to book their final place.
Low Fell Jolly Miller were also in Bev Haggett Cup action against Pelton Fell WMC and took a shock fifth minute lead through Michael Jenkins.
The Jolly Miller held on to their second round lead until five minutes before half time, when Danny Bankhead got the Fell's equaliser.
Bankhead then went on to score a second and further goals from George Middlemiss and Frank Tiffin ensured a 4-1 win and semi final spot for the Fell against Stanley RAFA.
In the Richardson Cup, Felling Mulberry were at in-form side Pelton Crown and completely turned the tables to record a 7-1 win. Kevin Leask scored for the Crown, with Paul Wilkinson (2), Mark Stephenson (2) and Gary Harkness (3) hitting the target for the Mulberry for whom Jason Pringle was outstanding in midfield.
South Moor Sports got back to winning ways after a poor few weeks with a 5-2 win over Stanley Masons Arms SC, to go top of their group.
David Craig struck a hat-trick along with Anthony Sterling and Chris Youll to ensure a good day for the Sports while Ty Swan got both goal for the gallant Masons.

Consett Sunday League
IT has been a tremendous few days for Blackhall Mill in two cup competitions.
The crowning glory came in the First Division League Cup Final - the Harkness Trophy - in front of a big crowd at Consett's Belle Vue Park.
The Mill were underdogs against championship favourites AK Leisure, but after a goalless first half went on to record an emphatic 3-0 win with goals from stalwart Derek Waters, Gavin Courtney and Lee Brown.
Attention was then switched to the Jack Grigg Memorial Trophy and a semi-final place achieved after a 5-3 home win over injury hit Annfield Plain Cricket Club with Paul Tyers getting two of the Hall's goals.
AK Leisure bounced through and are also into the semi-final after an Andrew Thompson hat-trick guided them to a 5-1 win at Craghead.
In Division One, Leadgate Golden Lion moved second after two David Craggs goals and another from David Thompson saw them to a 3-0 home win over struggling Station Ex Juniors.
At the wrong end of the table, Highwayman remain in trouble after a Lee Innes double helped Blackhill Comrades record a 4-1 away win.
An Andrew Taylor double helped Annfield Plain Demi to 3-3 draw at Division Two strugglers Burnhope while two each from Barry Emery and Peter Cockburn took the Cricketers to a 4-1 win at Top Club.
Tantobie are now top after beating Steel Club 4-2 with Paul Palmer scoring twice along with Kevin Johnson and Craig White.
In Division Three, the big shock saw bottom side Scotch Arms win away to leaders Dipton Bird Inn with a solitary goal from David Kearney
