Mackinlay Park 3 v 0 Stokesley SC
A new-look Redcar side took the lead after 22 minutes when Charlie Eeles opened his account for his team. Ray Teasdale gave Park a 2-0 half-time lead and in the second half the hosts increased their lead to 3-0 when Eeles made the game safe with ten minutes remaining.
BEADS FC 1 v 1 Carlin How
The match was very evenly contested but in the 17th minute the home side took the lead through Andy Bowman. Carlin How were then awarded a penalty, however, from the spot Nicky Ward blasted wide but teammate Jason Couse headed home to level shortly after.
Thornaby FC 4 v 0 Fishburn Park
in the 35th minute John Ritchie was brought down in the Fishburn penalty area, Darren Bullock making no mistake from the penalty spot. Ten minutes into the second half Thornaby took a 2-0 lead when a Michael Percival through-ball found Danny Jones who slotted home his 15th of the season. Ten minutes later Thornaby took a 3-0 lead when Neil Preston scored before Chris Levick tapped home from close range.
Thornaby YC 1 v 1 Wolviston Res
Wolviston's Craig Leslie gave his team 1-0 lead after only 12 seconds but Robbie Shaw equalised in the second half to make it 1-1.
Division Two
Billingham Wndrs 3 v 3 Teesside Ath
Billingham Wanderers went behind after only five minutes when Jamie Martin latched on to a long ball over the top and lobbed the advancing keeper. Ten minutes later Athletic were 2-0 ahead Martin got his second of the game. Wanderers pulled a goal back 15 minutes later when a Jonathan Stewart corner was headed home by Paul Skipper and then another cross from Stewart saw the ball cleared of the line by an Athletic defender. In the second half the home side pressed and in the 55th minute Lee Mitchell made it 2-2. He gave the hosts a 3-2 lead but with three minutes remaining Alex Hugill made the final score 3-3.
Darlington SRM 2 v 2 Whinney Banks
After an evenly contested first ten minutes, the home side took the lead through Paul Thorns. Whinney Banks drew level when John Blamires scored but two minutes into the second half Gavin Harris gave the Darlington side the lead for the second time. Whinney Banks fought back and were rewarded with five minutes remaining when Anthony High made it 2-2.
Guisb Town Res 0 v 1 Darlington CB
in a dull game of very few chances, Lee Hammond scored the only goal of three minutes before the break, when he broke clear of the Town defence before running on to slot the ball past John Kirkwood.
SMG Redstripes 0 v 1 Teesside Link
leaders SMG Redstripes slipped to a surprise first league defeat of the season when entertaining Thornaby side Teesside Link, Steve Hill scoring the only goal.
Macmillan Bowl quarter finals
Acklam SW 4 v 3 Nunthorpe Ath
After only nine minutes the writing looked to be on the wall when Glynn Swinnerton gave Nunthorpe the lead, but a minute later the match was all square when Darren Sankey scored, in the next minute Andrew List gave Acklam a 2-1 lead. Anthony Roberts made it 2-2 and then Roberts scored again to give Nunthorpe a 3-2 half time lead. In the second half Acklam pressed and were rewarded when Burns was on target to pull it back to 3-3. With the match evenly balanced Burns pounced with eight minutes remaining to secure a semi-final against the winners of Bedale and Thornaby FC.
G'town BC 3 v 2 Tees. Arriva (aet)
in the tenth minute a header from Grangetown's Calvin Foley found its way past the keeper's hand and a defender on the line. This seemed to make the visitors up their game and they pressed forward and 20 minutes later they drew level when Dave Clarke made it 1-1. The match was heading for half time, but the Boys Club grabbed the lead again when Robbie Bell broke through the Arriva defence to slot past the keeper. In the second half the visitors had the strong wind behind them and drew level at 2-2 when Clarke score again. After 90 minutes the match remained deadlocked and went into extra time, and a minute into the second period Gary Simpson clinched a place in the semi-final against BEADS FC or Billingham Wanderers.
R T Raine Trophy second round
Dormans FC 2 v 0 Richmond Town
The first half of this meeting was very evenly contested but the deadlock was broken ten minutes into the second half when Sam Ebwea broke clear and ran on to give Dormans the lead. The visitors pushed forward looking for a way back into the match but ten minutes before the final whistle Kenny Matthews powered home a header to secure a semi-final at home to Carlin How.
