The club are appealing for new players to join their junior section.

They currently have over 60 boy and girl members, aged from six to 16 and they train and play each week throughout the season which stretches from early September to the end of April.

They also invite any interested adults to attend matches on Sunday mornings as any assistance would be appreciated.

The club has a relationship with Leeds Tykes Rugby Union Club and John Bentley, their club development officer and one-time British Lion, pays regular visits to Wensleydale to assist in coaching. Last year, at John's invitation, Wensleydale Under-9s played at Headingley during half time of a Leeds Tykes game.
