The Under-14s Albion were entertained by Spraire in a classic derby. Very entertaining in all aspects of the game for the spectators present, Albion pressured in the first half with a goal from Andrew Wood.
A midfield battle ensued with chances not being taken by Albion. The second half saw a change of wind suiting the Albion and a shut-out by Albion's defence and again chances squandered in front of goal. As the game drew to the closing moments, ironically Albion's defence made a fatal mistake, allowing Spraire to capitalise making it a 1-1 draw. Overall, a very demanding, physical game with a fair result. Albion's man of the match was Lee McKie.

The Under-13s were away to Bedale, in a difficult swirling wind, both teams coped well producing some good football. Bedale opened the scoring playing with the wind in the first half, but Albion defended well under pressure and a goal from Chris Binks levelled the score at 1-1 going into the break. The second half Albion played some excellent football and two well worked goals saw Chris Binks and Matthew Phillips hit the net giving Albion a 3-1 lead. Bedale scored again with ten minutes to go through a lapse in concentration in Albion's defence. Final score 3-2 to the Albion, man of the match Liam Allen for an excellent performance as stand-in keeper.
