A 27-YEAR-OLD man from the North-East has been found dead in the Lake District.
The body of Christopher Waterfield, from Marske, east Cleveland, was found at the Patterdale Hotel, near Ullswater.
He had just taken a job as general assistant at the nearby White Lion Inn, and was thought to have been at a party at The Patterdale Hotel, where he worked until recently.
An inquest into his death last Friday has been adjourned pending the results of a post- mortem examination and toxicology reports.
Two men, both in their 20s and from Cumbria, were arrested following the discovery of Mr Waterfield's body.
Police have confirmed the men were questioned in connection with alleged drugs offences.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "Both were released on police bail and are due to return to Carlisle police station in early May."
