REHEARSALS are under way for a production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible at Polam Hall School, in Darlington.
The cast of 13 to 18-year-old girls, some of whom are studying drama, will be entertaining friends and family with their performance.
Susanne Davison, acting headteacher at Polam Hall School, said: "The girls have been rehearsing for ten weeks and are very excited about opening night.
"The Crucible was chosen by the current Lower Six, after studying the text last year for GCSE drama. I wish our budding actresses every success for their hard work and enthusiasm."
The play opens tomorrow and will run until Saturday at the school's Liddiard Theatre. Tickets, which cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, are available from the school
