TEES Valley's languages "hit squad" is making sure the area's exporters have the tools to do business abroad.
The team charged with raising awareness of the value of languages and other international communications skills is staging two events at Teesside University's Centre for Enterprise on Tuesday.
The Regional Language Network NorthEast has recruited partners to take the international communications message to firms and help them break down language and cultural barriers to win international business.
Companies interested in attending the events are asked to call Fiona McQuillan, at Teesside Business School, on (01642) 342863.
