A WHITE cat is looking for a new home after being saved from certain death.
Pearl, a four-year-old cat, was rescued by a National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL) volunteer when she was taken to the vets to be destroyed.
Pauline Wilson, from the support league, said there was no reason for the cat to be destroyed.
She said: "She is a bit of a tinker and I think would need a one-to-one home, without children or other animals.
"She is a very independent-minded cat - she will come to you when she wants to be stroked, but only when she wants to.
"But a lot of people like cats with a bit of attitude about them like that. She will really rule the roost in any house, but she is not a bad cat."
Anyone wishing to give Pearl a home is asked to call (01325) 321855.
