THE funeral will be held today of a North-East schoolgirl who was stabbed to death in her home.
Friends and family will pay their last respects to 12-year-old Natalie Ruddick at St Matthew and St Mary's Church, Newcastle at 10.30am, followed by burial at the city's West Road Cemetery.
Natalie was found in the bedroom of her home in Frosterley Place, Arthur's Hill, Newcastle, on March 5. A post-mortem examination showed she had multiple stab wounds.
* Ronald Pattinson, 18, Belsay Place, Arthur's Hill, has been charged with Natalie's murder. He will appear before Newcastle Crown Court on June 9.
