IF you have a head for heights, then head for Hartlepool - that is the message from a group of stiltwalkers in the town.
The search is on for recruits to join Stiltskins, a group of stiltwalkers of all ages which has been delighting crowds at several North-East arts events.
Formed three years ago, the group first performed at the Hartlepool Maritime Festival 2000 and now has 40 members, who entertained the crowds at Stockton Riverside Festival and Newcastle's New Year's Eve celebrations.
Stiltskins is looking for more members to train for a performance at the new Hartlepool Youth Arts Festival, in June, and at other events throughout the summer.
Free stiltwalking training sessions for beginners will be held in Hartlepool on Tuesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 17. To take part, call (01642) 718600.
