PEOPLE in Hartlepool have the chance to have their say on proposed extra amendments to the town's Local Plan.
The town's current plan, a blueprint agreed by councils to shape the future use of land, was adopted in 1994 and work has been under way for a new version in 2004. Presentations of the plan will be held at meetings of three neighbourhood consultative forums next month.
LEISURE SESSIONS: Parents can treat children under five to a bouncy castle session at Southlands Leisure Centre, Middlesbrough, from next month. Bounce-Arama also includes a soft play area and two ball pools. Sessions will be held every Wednesday from April 2, from 1pm to 4pm. Admission is £1.55 for members, £1.65 for non-members.
MELODY MAKERS: Singing group The Redcar Melody Makers visited St Andrew's United Reformed Church, in Marton, to entertain the Friendship Club as guests of Joyce Aldous. The event was followed up with a repeat sing-along at The Redcar United Reformed Church Wednesday Club.
SARA'S CASH: Saltburn Animal Rescue Association has raised £800 at recent events. A coffee morning at Marske Leisure Centre raised £232, a tombola stall in Morrisons, Redcar, raised £341 and a tombola in Somerfields, Saltburn, raised £200.
FORUM REPORT: The Coatham Ward Community Forum has its second annual meeting on Monday, March 31, in the main hall of Coatham CofE Primary School, Coatham Road, Redcar, at 6.30pm. For details, call (01642) 444288.
COFFEE MORNING: The League of Friends of Stead Hospital, Redcar, will hold a coffee morning at Marske Leisure Centre on Saturday, April 5, from 10am to noon. Admission will be 40p.
COMMUNITY FORUM: Kirkleatham Community Forum will hold its annual meeting in the Kirkleatham Local Learning Centre, Kielder Close, Redcar, on Monday, March 31, at 6.30pm.
NIGHT SKY: Cleveland Retired Men's Association met at the Regency Hotel, Redcar, to hear a talk by Brian Lake on the night sky.
