FRESH from a triumphant run on Broadway and last year's sell-out performances at the Edinburgh Festival, Otis Lee Crenshaw is coming to Hartlepool later this month.
Otis - a fictional Tennessee jailbird created and played by comedian Rick Hall - has been entertaining audiences since he was created in 1998.
A singer-songwriter, Otis writes bourbon-soaked songs and blends them with audience banter for an evening of adult comedy and music.
His show arrives at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road for one night on Wednesday, along with his backing band, The Black Liars.
Hall has won several awards for his live work, including the 2000 Perrier Award, and has made many television appearances on shows such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
His show, which is part of a UK tour, will start at 8pm.
Tickets cost £12, and £10 for concessions, available on (01429) 890000
