A HISTORY walk and talk will herald the re-opening of the Tom Leonard Mining Museum in Skinningrove.
The six-mile walk on Sunday will take in the coast and cliffs around the village. A guide will discuss the area's history dating back 5,000 years and follow tracks used by miners and their families for 400 years.
The museum opens for the summer season on Monday, March 31. As a pre-opening event it will be open on this Sunday from 1pm, with reduced entrance charges.
