AN art gallery in the region is highlighting the talent of six professional artists in a series of events.
Colliers, in Dean Street, Newcastle, is hosting several open days where artists will be showing their work and available to answer questions.
The events, which begin tomorrow and run for the five successive Saturdays, starts with Walter Holmes presenting his oil, pastels and watercolours. Then it's Russian painter Alexander Terenin, Durham artist Ollie Burton's local cityscapes, Longhorsley's Alexander Millar's famous "gadgie" characters, Barnard Castle's John Degnan, and finally Tynesider John Coatsworth will display his "bendy" views of Newcastle.
The exhibitions are being held between 10am to 4pm and admission is free.
