AN Australian stable lad was fined £120 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £45 yesterday after admitting driving without insurance.
Jeremy Vaughan, 22, told magistrates in Richmond he bought a car in January but was stopped by police in Middleham before he had time to complete the necessary formalities.
Vaughan, who both lives and works at stables in Middleham, also had seven penalty points placed on his driving licence.
