Quakers RC: On Sunday, March 9 the final Castle Eden Walkway Handicap was held.

Yet another good turnout saw Wendy Glasper of the Quakers RC win the overall series with 191 points, second place went to Rebekah Hardy (Unattached) with 184 points and Alan Prest (Quakers) took third place also with 184 points.

Also on Sunday, the annual Redcar half marathon was held. In windy conditions, Ian Scott was first home for the club finishing 23rd overall out of 827 finishers in a time of 1:18:22.
