A MAKER of grinding equipment for lawnmowers has found a favourable fairway for selling its products in Scandinavia.
Hunter Grinders, of Newcastle, has signed up deals in Norway supplying specialist grinding gear to sharpen the blades on cylinder mowers used on golf courses.
Hunter, one of only three manufacturers worldwide of specialist grinding equipment for cylinder mowers, picked up the contracts during a Trade Partners UK Export Explorer mission to the country.
Keith Cann-Evans, Hunter managing director, said: "The growth in the Scandinavian golf industry alone represents a potential market worthy of the interest and investment required to promote Hunter Grinder products.
