A CLASSIC car once owned by King Hussein of Jordan has gone on the market in the region.
The 1965 Daimler V8 250 sports model was owned by hotelier Barry Turner, managing director of English Rose Hotels, who died last month.
It has gone on show at the Scarborough Hyundai Centre, in Seamer Road, North Yorkshire, with a price tag of £24,000.
The car was kept at the king's home at Ascot before being bought by Mr Turner to add to his collection of cars, all of which are being sold.
Principal dealer Mike Wilson said: "The paw prints of the king's dog can still be seen on the inside of the driver's door, because he ordered the damaged veneer not to be repaired."
