The Under-15s maintained their position at the top of the TJFA with a convincing 6-0 win at Darlington Spraire Lads.
After weathering a first half battering off, with Sean Noble outstanding in the Redcar goal.
Redcar had the outstanding Jonathan Grounds to thank for scoring four superb goals along with Tom Whaley who weighed in with the other two.
Grounds has been superb all season and has been asked by Middlesbrough to return after being released a couple of seasons ago. He has worked hard ever since proving his doubters wrong giving some great performances in the TJFA for Redcar Town since moving there from Marton Hall Drive in the close season.
His skills and majestic left foot has been a revelation for Redcar and his contribution has elevated Redcar to there current position.
Middlesbrough's Academy are taking Jonathan to the Nike tournament and the Milk Cup in Ireland. It just goes to show you should never give up on a dream.
