ALMOST 200 students from throughout Britain and beyond aired their views in a debating contest.
The competition, at Durham University, invited students from 42 schools to debate the motion - "This house would eat genetically modified foods".
It was sponsored by the Food Standards Agency.
The motion was carried but the overall winners, from Robert Gordons School, in Aberdeen, spoke against it.
